In its fourth year, the Big Orange Family Campaign saw 2,628 faculty and staff members respond to the campaign call to “Be the Volunteer Difference” by giving back to UT.

More than 52 percent of UT faculty and staff contributed this year. Thirty-three departments and units had 100 percent participation (see list below).

“I am so appreciative of the support of our faculty and staff,” said Chancellor Beverly Davenport. “They exemplify the Volunteer difference with their generosity and make a positive impact  on the lives of our current and future students.”

Donors can designate their gifts to any college, department, program, scholarship, or established gift fund that they choose.

“This gives faculty and staff the opportunity to raise their hand and say, ‘I believe in this community and this university,’” says Lauren Herbstritt, director of new media fundraising. “We work for a special place that educates and inspires all who are touched by the institution.”
