In February, the School of Music honored Pulitzer Prize- and Grammy award-winning artist Jennifer Higdon during a four-day event.
“A Celebration of Jennifer Higdon” featured wind ensemble and symphony orchestra concerts as well as a guest artist lecture from Higdon.
Higdon, a native of Maryville, was a guest artist in residence for the week at the School of Music and worked with master’s composition and theory students.
