Mark_HulsetherThe Knoxville News Sentinel interviewed Mark Hulsether, professor of religious studies, for a story examining the intersection of religion and politics and how people of faith draw disparate conclusions at the ballot box.

Hulsether noted that a voter’s faith can be an important factor in picking a candidate.

“People who are serious about religion almost always have a point of view on all different kinds of political and social issues,” he said. “And the more religious you are, the more you would care about the candidate’s religious point of view.” Read the story online.
