Students in the Department of Geography are inviting the campus community to a free food tasting and to learn about the many ways the field of geography impacts the world on Friday, November 18.

The “Taste of the World” event will be held from 1 to 4:30 p.m. in the Frieson Black Cultural Center. It will feature food from various cultures around the globe. It is free and open to the public.

Department staff, faculty, graduate and undergraduate students will be on hand to speak with students and other attendees and spread awareness about the many projects, research and opportunities the department has to offer.

Club Geography is hosting the event. It is funded in part by the Student Programming Allocation Committee.
