UT is among the top green institutions in the nation, according to the Princeton Review’s Guide to 361 Green Colleges: 2016 Edition list.

The list was determined based upon a comprehensive assessment of more than 2,000 colleges.

The publication notes that UT is a school with an “overall commitment to sustainability.”

The list also notes that 19 percent of UT graduates took a course related to sustainability, 42 percent of UT’s energy comes from renewable resources, and UT has a waste diversion rate of 25 percent.

UT was recently ranked among the country’s best universities by the Princeton Review.

UT was also named a “best value” public university by the Princeton Review earlier this year.

The Princeton Review is an educational services company known for its test-preparation and other services, books, and resources for students.
