With the popularity of the new Volunteer Boulevard Garage which opened last month, Parking and Transit Services wants to let you know about alternative and less-used parking options you can use if the garage is full.

You can check on the occupancy of the Volunteer Boulevard Garage (G-16) by clicking the Parking icon within the Tennessee app, which is available for both iPhone and Android.

If the garage is full, Parking and Transit Services recommends checking lots with an occupancy percentage with 85 percent or lower. The lots their staff recommends include:

Student Lots

C-7 Lot (along Caledonia Avenue) at 9 a.m.

C/S-12 Lot (along Lake Avenue) at 9 a.m.

C-22 Lot (corner of Volunteer Boulevard and UT Drive) at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m.

G-4 Garage (C-5, Lake Loudoun Boulevard middle level) at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

G-10 Garage (C-2, Neyland Parking Garage) at 9 a.m.

Parking and Transit tracked the occupancy of all staff and student lots at three different times during the day for the span of one week. See the full occupancy percentages here.
