The first home game of the 2016 football season is Thursday. As the season begins, keep in mind a few things about football parking.
Top issues:
- Campus parking lots will be closed the evening prior to gamedays and all vehicles must be removed by the times specified by signs in each lot.
- UT vehicles assigned to your department must be removed from campus lots the evening prior to gameday. Relocate these vehicles to an approved alternative area or the Staff 70 parking area on Middlebrook Pike. Please park on the outer part of the Staff 70 lot away from building entrances.
- Vehicles remaining in assigned football parking areas on gamedays are subject to towing at the expense of the department.
For faculty and staff who are required to work on football Saturdays these lots that are provided for your use:
Staff 12—North Side of Hoskins Library
Staff 20 and RecSports Parking Area—East Side of Aquatic Center
Staff 7—12th and White north of Jessie Harris Building, across from the Early Learning Center
Staff 40—Kingston Pike Building
These lots will be staffed and a valid regular staff parking permit will be required. Please note parking is very limited and these lots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please consider carpooling or using alternative means of transportation on gamedays.
