WUOT invites listeners and members of the community to attend the station’s open house from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday August 11.
Visitors can meet staff and on-air personalities, explore the station, enjoy treats from area restaurants, share what keeps them up at night at the Tenn Words booth, and record their own keepsake radio announcement. Asheville-based artist Brian Vasilik will be drawing caricatures and masseuse Aaron Searcy will give massages. Participants can enter to win prizes.
The station is in Communications Building Room 219. Parking is available on Circle Park Drive.
