Knoxville Mercury Features Hebert’s New Book

The book features dozens of characters including activists, executives, the working poor, and the dispossessed. Ultimately, the city itself—its crumbling civic infrastructure, its faded industrial glory, its uncertain future—is the central character of the novel.
