Estabrook Road is closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic at Lower Drive, and will reopen in approximately five weeks.
As part of the detour around the project, Tee Martin Drive will remain open and the traffic direction on Lower Drive will be reversed to enable motorists to turn right onto Middle Drive.
This closure is to ensure safety in the area while large modular blocks are delivered and installed to create a retaining wall as part of the Estabrook streetscape project.
The streetscape project aims to improve the overall appearance of the eastern edge of campus. When work is completed in summer 2016, Estabrook Road will feature enhanced Wi-Fi access along with new retaining walls, sidewalks, curbs, lighting, benches, trees, and irrigation systems.
