This spring the Office of Undergraduate Admissions will host New Vol Roll Call events across the state and in five locales across the country—Chicago; Cincinnati; Washington, DC; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Atlanta.
This is the third year for the New Vol Roll Call events.
“We’ve been busy selecting new Vols to join other new Vols for the fall of 2016—the Class of 2020—and we are eager to welcome them to the Volunteer community,” said Kari Alldredge, director of undergraduate admissions and interim associate provost of enrollment management. “New Vol Roll Call events give our newly admitted students the opportunity to meet other students from their areas, network with staff and alumni, and start enjoying the camaraderie that comes with being a part of our great university.”
Newly admitted students should receive an invitation to register for a New Vol Roll Call event by logging into their VIP account. Events will be held throughout March:
- March 7—Tri-Cities, Tennessee
- March 8—Chattanooga
- March 9—Nashville
- March 10—Memphis
- March 14—Chicago
- March 15—Cincinnati
- March 17—Washington, DC
- March 22—Atlanta
- March 23—Charlotte, North Carolina
In addition to attending local events, all newly admitted students are invited to the New Vol Roll Call finale on April 16, prior to the free-admission Orange and White game, in Knoxville.
