The College of Law is one of the nation’s outstanding law schools, according to the Princeton Review’s annual guide to law schools, The Best 173 Law Schools: 2016 Edition.
In the guide, the Princeton Review profiles UT Law and other top law schools with information and ratings about academic programs, student life, admissions, selectivity, and career placement services. The publication recognizes UT’s “great education at an affordable price.”
“Students find the program ‘mentally stimulating’ and leave confident in their ‘ability to practice law after graduation,'” according to the publication, with “‘small class sizes’ which make ‘learning more personable and focused.'” Students find the university’s Career Center ‘very helpful,’ according to the report.
According to the review, UT features “top notch” faculty and staff, “very accessible and open” administration, and a “great sense of community.”
The Princeton Review does not rank the law schools or name one law school best overall. Instead, the book has eleven ranking lists of the top ten law schools in various categories. This year’s rankings were based on 19,700 responses from students at the 173 law schools, who were asked questions about their school’s academics, student body and campus life, as well as about themselves and their career plans.
