Al Hazari, recently retired chemistry faculty member, will conduct exciting and often explosive demonstrations as he unravels the mystery of how everyday items work. The show is now in its twenty-fifth year.

The event begins at 7:00 p.m. in Room 555 of Dabney-Buehler Hall. It is free and open to the public.

Free parking is available in the UT Parking Garage at White Avenue and Eleventh Street.

The show, part of National Chemistry Week, is both entertaining and educational. The theme for this year’s National Chemistry Week is “Chemistry Colors Our World” and explores the chemistry of food colors and fireworks, rainbows, and natural dyes and pigments.
