The westbound lanes of Volunteer Boulevard will close near Johnson-Ward Pedestrian Walkway from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, for the installation of a new chiller unit for the John C. Hodges Library. During the closure, westbound traffic will shift to one lane on the eastbound side in this area.

Sidewalks and the south entrance of the library along Volunteer Boulevard will still be accessible to visitors from the Pedestrian Walkway.

Additionally, Phillip Fulmer Way from Cumberland Avenue to Middle Way Drive will close for utility work for the Student Union project on Thursday, October 15, and Friday, October 16. The closed portion of the road will reopen by Sunday, October 18.

The pedestrian bridge connecting the Eleventh Street Garage and the Hill also will close during Fall Break for replacement of deck pavers. For more info, call 974-3061.
