UT Joins China Town Hall on Chinese Investments in the US

China Town Hall is a national day of programming on China involving seventy-five cities throughout the United States on Monday, October 5. This year’s program will feature a live webcast panel discussion with former Secretary of the Treasury Robert Rubin; Thomasville, Alabama, Mayor Sheldon Day of Thomasville; and Daniel Rosen, founding partner of the Rhodium Group.

The event will start at 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 5, in the HSS Room 123.

Following the webcast, Ryan Ong will give a talk on the UT campus. Ryan Ong has served as director of the US-China Business Council’s Business Advisory Services division since January 2010, leading a team of analysts that work closely with American member companies to inform and advocate for US companies doing business in China.

The National Committee on US-China Relations is the leading national, nonpartisan public affairs organization devoted exclusively to building constructive and durable relationships between the United States and China.
