“Welcome Back Commuters” during Welcome Week was more than a one-time experience. Off-Campus and Commuter Services partnered with several university departments to give commuters free breakfast from Chick-fil-A and a bag full of campus resources at a different parking garage each morning. That’s just the beginning for this new campus program.
Knoxville is home to over 19,000 Vols that commute to campus. Off-Campus and Commuter Services is here to help you navigate your Vol life off campus and keep you connected to good ole’ Rocky Top.

Off-Campus and Commuter Services is here to be an advocate for you, so we need to hear from you. Look out for a survey via e-mail and in an upcoming edition of Commuter Corner where you can tell us all about your commuter experience.
The Rocky Top Rooftop Party
Come join the party with music, food, and lots of activities to promote healthy and safe behavior to enjoy your Vol life off campus! The event takes place between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, in the Thompson-Boling Arena Gate D Plaza. There will be free food and prizes.
You can also look forward to Commuter Appreciation Week later this semester, which will feature more events to show you how much we value your experience. We will provide more information in an upcoming edition of Commuter Corner.
Off-Campus Housing Database Launch & Housing Fair
We are bringing the properties to you!
Look forward to a multi-function off-campus housing database, a campus housing fair, as well as programs to educate you on renting rights and responsibilities. More information coming soon!
