In July, the Center for Career Development unveiled its new name after moving in to its new location on level two of the first phase of the Student Union. This semester, the center has introduced expanded walk-in hours and services in an effort to be more accessible to students.

The goals of the new walk-in model include increasing student access to support through extended hours in the center and in two other campus locations as well as increasing the breadth of services to better meet students’ career development needs. Walk-ins will be fifteen-minute mini-sessions on topics listed below, and students will choose one topic when they sign in.  Proof of completion cards are available if requested.

Full-length appointments are available for more in-depth discussions and can be made by calling 865-974-5435. Students can also visit a kiosk in Commons South located in Hodges Library to access online services.
