The Early Learning Center encourages families to take advantage of loosely structured time in the summer to help foster learning opportunities.
“Children are often quite scheduled and programmed during the school year,” said Robyn Brookshire, director of the Early Learning Center for Research and Practice.
In May, the center released a list of ten ideas to help make learning fun. WVLT, Local 8 Now, created a four-part series from the list.
