UT fans can get their first look at new Nike apparel with the Power T branding by visiting VolShop locations on Wednesday, July 1, and shopping the VolShop online.
Four locations on and near campus—the Team Shop at Neyland Stadium’s Gate 20 and the VolShop locations in the new Student Union, in University Commons, and at Cumberland Avenue and Seventeenth Street—will open at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, stocked with all the new gear. The launch coincides with the unveiling of new athletics uniforms, which will be broadcast live at noon.
“The VolShop will offer the world’s largest selection of Nike Tennessee products for our wonderful fans,” said David Kent, VolShop director. “The best fans and student-athletes in the country deserve the best apparel and gear, and we are very proud to offer that to them with our new partner.”
Shoppers can expect to find new Nike versions of clothing and accessories to outfit the entire family. All VolShop proceeds benefit the university through student scholarships and campus building projects.
The new Student Union VolShop covers 14,500 square feet and offers more than twice the amount of apparel offered in the previous University Center location.
Public parking near the campus locations is available in Volunteer Hall Parking Garage on White Avenue and on the first level of the Neyland Parking Garage on Neyland Drive. The University Commons VolShop has an attached public parking garage. Information about the locations and closing times for the stores is available on the VolShop website.
