ThinkSummerDo you have plans for summer yet? If not, maybe you should think about staying in Knoxville and taking a couple of classes at UT.

The university has just been named one of the 50 “best colleges for summer school” by College Choice, an online publication dedicated to helping students and their families find the right college.

According to College Choice, UT is ranked at No. 27 because of the city’s diverse outdoor amenities and cultural offerings. The list mentions some well-known amenities and locations, including Knoxville’s parks and greenways, the Tennessee River, and the Great Smoky Mountains, all of which are great options for students to enjoy throughout the summer.

In addition to on-campus classes, UT offers a range of undergraduate and graduate online classes for students who want to get ahead or catch up on their classes from a distance.

College Choice offers resources that help students in their college search, including college rankings, admissions advice, and scholarship and financial aid information. Rankings are based on what actual students say is most important to them in making their college decision.
