Juan Cristóbal Quevedo, a second-year student at the College of Law, was one of twelve students nationwide to be awarded the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund Law School Scholarship. Quevedo, the only scholarship recipient from a law school in the Southeast, is an immigrant from Mexico who successfully coordinated his family’s seven-year immigration case.
