ut-students-fergusonA group of UT students who traveled to Ferguson, Missouri, will share their experiences at an open forum and discussion session, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, in Room 27 of the Alumni Memorial Building.

The students traveled to Ferguson to protest the August 9 shooting of Michael Brown. Following the report, a discussion will be moderated by Joshua Inwood, associate professor of geography, and Anton Reece, director of the Student Success Center.

The event is sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, the Black Faculty and Staff Association, the Commission for Blacks, the Office of Multicultural Student Life, and the Africana Studies Department. The event is free and open to the public.
