WBIR-TV spoke with Annette Mendola, a graduate student in philosophy and UT Medical Center clinical ethicist, spoke about physician assisted suicide from the medical perspective. The interview was in light of the death of Brittany Maynard, who was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and took her own life under Oregon’s death with dignity law.
