Don’t Forget: Open Enrollment Ends November 1

For Your BenefitThere are just eight days left in the state’s annual enrollment period for health, dental, vision, basic and term life, long-term care, optional special accident insurance, and flexible benefits. The open enrollment period for all state employees will close on Saturday, November 1.

Between now and November 1, employees may enroll in programs, change providers or options, add dependents or cancel coverage. No action is required if you are happy with your current benefit selections. The decisions you make during the enrollment period are effective January 1 through December 31, 2015.

Employees are asked to make any changes online through the state’s self service program. Instructions for using the system and login and password information were mailed to home addresses by the state’s benefit office in mid-September.

If you did not receive this information or have questions about using the state’s online system, call 800-253-9981 and select option 3.

More information about the benefits and enrollment process are available in the state’s 2015 Decision Guide.
