Even though there are less than six weeks of classes left in the fall semester, SGA is still hard at work drafting legislation, meeting with students and administrators, and hosting events for our fellow students. Below are details about some of SGA’s upcoming events and a few quick reminders:

See You There

Beat Bama Bonfire: SGA is partnering with Campus Entertainment Board for the October edition of Vol Night Long on Friday, October 24, at Fiji Island. The bonfire begins at 9:00 p.m. and includes an appearance by the UT Pep Squad to pump everyone up for the Alabama football game on Saturday. Fireworks start at 10:45 p.m. Vol Night Long activities begin at 11:00 p.m. and include a magician, pumpkin carving, street artists, free food, and more. Check out the Center for Student Engagement Facebook page for more information.

Baker Center’s Toyota Auditorium. The College Democrats and College Republicans will participate in a debate moderated by Vice Chancellor Vince Carilli. There will be free pizza provided. Check out the SGA Facebook page for more information.
