William CorbittWilliam Corbett, a candidate for dean of the College of Law, will lead a public forum from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, October 9, in College of Law Classroom 132.

Corbett is the Frank L. Maraist Professor of Law and Wex S. Malone Professor of Law at Louisiana State University Law Center. Before joining the university’s faculty in 1991, he was an associate at Burr and Forman in Birmingham, Alabama, for two years. From 1983 to 1986, Corbett taught at Auburn High School in Auburn, Alabama.

He has a law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in education from Auburn University.

Each forum will be recorded. Once all candidates have completed their visits, archived video of the presentations will be posted on the Office of the Provost’s website. More information on the candidates and the ability to share anonymous feedback during the search can also be found on the website.
