Bill-HaltomUT’s Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy will host a talk by UT alumnus Bill Haltom, a Memphis lawyer and author of a newly published book about Senator Baker.

Haltom will be talking about his book The Other Fellow Might Be Right: The Civility of Howard Baker at a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3, in the Toyota Auditorium at the Baker Center. A book signing will follow the luncheon.

Haltom’s book is a tribute to the late senator, whose civility brought adversaries together to propose solutions to our nation’s problems.

Public parking is available at the Volunteer Hall garage for $2.00 an hour. Map and directions are available online.
