Since the fall of 2009, the Homer A. Jones Jr. Wills Clinic at UT’s College of Law has been providing estate planning services to East Tennesseans of modest means. Under the supervision of Visiting Professor Barbara Johnson and Professor Amy Morris Hess, both experienced estate planners, students prepare wills, powers of attorney, living wills, and other estate planning documents free of charge for clients who meet certain financial and other guidelines. The wills clinic will accept UT nonexempt staff as clients as time permits and provided that the staff members meet all the guidelines.
