Accounting Professor Joseph Carcello was recently quoted in a Wall Street Journal article about a tax firm’s plan to revive the Arthur Andersen name. The Arthur Andersen firm collapsed more than a decade ago in the wake of the Enron Corporation scandal. A San Francisco-based tax-consulting firm run by former Andersen partners is buying the rights to the Andersen name and plans to rename the firm Andersen Tax. Read the story here. (Login required.)
