TygerGlauserThe Center for Student Engagement welcomed new assistant director Tyger Glauser to their office over the summer. In her position, Tyger will advise the Cultural Attractions Committee, All Campus Events, and Volapalooza.

Background: Tyger completed her undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies at Bowling Green State University and her master’s degree in College Student Personnel at UT.

For the past four years, Tyger worked at Coastal Carolina University, starting as the coordinator of student programs before being promoted to assistant director of Student Activities and Leadership.

Tyger currently serves as the Education and Professional Development Coordinator for the 2014 NACA South Conference and received the 2014 Outstanding New Professional Award from the ACPA Commission for Student Involvement.

The most interesting thing you have learned about UT: The first Homecoming was held in conjunction with the November 11, 1916, UT vs. Vanderbilt football game. This year, All Campus Events is adding a new category for the Homecoming competition “Small Organizations and Residence Halls” to encourage more student participation. Go Vols!
