Stephanie-KitStephanie Kit has been named the interim director of Career Services. She previously served as the associate director of the office for more than sixteen years.

In her new role, Kit will lead the Career Services staff in working with students through a range of career development offerings and with employers through recruitment services.

“I look forward to leading the office as we continue to offer excellent services to  students, as well as some exciting new programs like the Job Fair Week we’ll host in September,” Kit said.

Originally from Delaware, Kit holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Wake Forest University and a Master of Education in college student personnel from the University of Georgia.

She and her husband, Kevin Kit, an associate professor in the College of Engineering, have eight-year-old twin boys who keep them busy when they’re not on campus.

The Division of Student Life is undertaking a national search for a permanent director of Career Services. The role was previously held by Russ Coughenour, who accepted a position at another university earlier this month.
