News Sentinel: Study: Fewer military veterans among area’s homeless

The number of homeless individuals who identified themselves as military veterans during interviews with researchers is among the lowest since the mid-1980s in Knoxville and Knox County, according to a report released Tuesday. The report is part of the data collection efforts of the Knox Homeless Management Information System (KnoxHMIS), which is managed by the College of Social Work.
