A section of Sixteenth Street from Cumberland Avenue to White Avenue will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day from Saturday, March 15, to Sunday, March 23.
The closure is scheduled during the university’s spring break to minimize any disruptions to students.
During the closure, sidewalks on both sides of Sixteenth Street also will be closed, but pedestrians traveling along the north side of Cumberland Avenue will be able to cross the street.
The road is being closed while contractors install electrical conduits beneath the street.
