Harry “Hap” McSween has worked for the university for thirty-seven years. He’s been giving back to UT for more than thirty years.
A Chancellor’s Professor and distinguished professor of earth and planetary sciences, McSween was also named the Southeastern Conference Professor of the Year in 2013.
A dedicated educator, he gives back to the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences.
“I’m just trying to make my academic program stronger,” he says.
As the Big Orange Family Campaign winds down this week, there are many ways faculty and staff can give back to the areas of campus that mean most to them. No matter the amount, each person’s participation is important.
