Style with Benefits, an internet-based retail company founded by senior economics major Chelsea Padgham, won the Vol Court fall session. The Knoxville News Sentinel featured Padgham and her startup in this story. Style with Benefits combines a for-profit business with social consciousness. The company will purchase products from artisans in developing counties which, will help create jobs in those communities. Vol Court was presented by the Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation based in the College of Business Administration.
