facilities-services-uniform-02UT’s Facilities Services employees are sporting an updated look—light gray shirts and charcoal pants.

The new uniforms come as part of the department’s reorganization effort, which is in line with the university’s long-range master plan and its goal to become a Top 25 public research university.

All Facilities Services employees are part of one integrated team, and the department’s new uniforms are meant to reflect this idea.

facilities-services-uniform-01Working as a cohesive group was integral to the process of choosing the look of the new uniforms. Facilities Services employees had a vote on what colors would be chosen, and all jobs performed by different divisions were considered when making the choice.

Another important aspect of the new uniforms is the ability of the campus community to easily identify members of the Facilities Services team.

Customer service is the department’s number one objective, and consistent, professional visibility on campus plays a vital role in achieving this goal.
