Girl Rising, an innovative documentary at the heart of the campaign to educate girls and change the world, will be screened courtesy of the International House at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, in the University Center Auditorium.

For guaranteed seating, attendees should be one of the first 300 people to reserve a ticket with a UT student ID at the International House.

Girl Rising, directed by Academy Award nominee Richard Robbins, tells the stories of nine extraordinary girls from nine countries, written by nine different writers and narrated by nine actresses. The countries in the film include Cambodia, India, Haiti, Nepal, Afghanistan, Peru, Sierra Leone, Egypt, and Ethiopia.
