Daniel PughDaniel Pugh, the second of four candidates for vice chancellor for student life, will hold a public forum from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. on Monday, September 30, in the Ray Mears Room of Thompson-Boling Arena.

Pugh is the vice provost for student affairs and dean of students at the University of Arkansas. Prior to that he was associate vice chancellor for student affairs and dean of students at the University of Arkansas for four years. He has also held leadership positions at Eastern Washington University, University of Georgia, and Virginia Tech.

He has a doctorate in higher education from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in education and bachelor’s degree in advertising, both from UT Knoxville.

Each of the candidates’ public sessions will be recorded and made available on the search website on October 3. The anonymous feedback link on the website will be available until noon on Tuesday, October 8.
