jean_kimJean Kim, the first of four candidates for vice chancellor for student life, will hold a public forum from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, in the Ray Mears Room of Thompson-Boling Arena.

Kim most recently served for four years as vice chancellor for student affairs and campus life at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Prior to that she held similar positions at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, the University of Puget Sound, the University of Colorado Boulder, and the University of Hartford. She has also worked as a consultant and held other administrative leadership positions at Stanford University and Western New England College.

She has a Doctor of Education degree, a master’s in sociology, and a bachelor’s in sociology, all from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Each of the candidates’ public sessions will be recorded and made available on the search website on October 3. The anonymous feedback link on the website will be available until noon on Tuesday, October 8.
