Our office has been working with the Division of Student Life and others to improve communication with our students.
We’ve designed a new and improved Student@Tennessee student newsletter with the goal of providing a more visual, interesting, and informative way to communicate. We also want to take advantage of all the great content on our website by linking to key pages.
Our first issue launched Thursday. You can view it here.
We hope that Student@Tennessee will provide a way to package important information and possibly reduce the many e-mails students receive from many of our administrative and student service offices, but often don’t read.
Student@Tennessee publishes on Mondays and Thursdays during the fall and spring semesters. We appreciate any other ideas and feedback that will help us improve the newsletter and our overall student communication efforts.
I hope you will submit items about upcoming events, reminders, and other student-focused news by sending an e-mail email@example.com.
Event submissions should include the event name, location, date and time, name of group sponsoring the event, contact e-mail address or phone number, and any associated website URLs.
Please note that all submissions should be open to all UT students and sponsored by university faculty, staff, students, academic departments, administrative units, or university-recognized clubs or interest groups.
