Subject: Join Us for the Fall Festival on Friday, October 12
We hope you are making plans to attend the thirty-fifth annual UT Fall Festival, planned for this Friday, October 12. The fun will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the TRECS complex.
This annual event is our way of saying “thank you” to all Knoxville-area faculty, staff, and retirees for their dedication to UT. We invite you to kick back and enjoy an afternoon with your coworkers.
The festival is themed Your Festival. Your Health. and will feature health and nutrition information from the UT Medical Center and Graduate School of Medicine Preston Medical Library. Also included will be exercise demonstrations by the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences and a range of benefits information from UT’s employee insurance vendors: BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Magellan Health, and others. New vision coverage plan provider, EyeMed, and flexible spending program provider, PayFlex, will also be on-site to answer questions.
Employees may participate in a variety of RecSports activities including Zorb balls, Joust, the Sports Zone, Bocce, and more.
Hosted by Human Resources, the Fall Festival will feature the festival’s favorite activities including bingo, music, giveaways from local vendors, door prizes, cake walk, and a catered lunch, courtesy of the Office of Finance and Administration.
