The Today show was live on campus Wednesday morning as part of the show’s “Kathie Lee and Hoda Go Back to College” challenge. UT is one of six finalists in the competition, which will bring Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb to the winning campus in early October for an hour-long live broadcast of the country’s most popular morning show.

UT needs your vote to win. Fans can vote at the Today website once per day, per computer. Voting ends at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 21. After voting the first time, your web browser may require you to clear its cache in order to vote again. (Each browser is different, but this option can usually be found under the ‘Tools’ menu.)

Hundreds of Volunteer fans turned out this morning for a brief broadcast live from Ayres Hall with Today correspondent Sara Haines. Students, band members, spirit squad members, faculty, and staff donned their orange and raised their shakers to prove to Today viewers that UT has the best college spirit in the country. The other five finalists in the challenge are Syracuse University, The Ohio State University, Brandeis University, the University of South Florida, and Creighton University.
