The big changes on campus promised by UT’s new Student Union project will start tomorrow, March 17, as workers begin demolishing the University Center parking garage. ATM machines from the adjacent “money wall” were removed earlier this week.
Also tomorrow, the section of Andy Holt Avenue between Volunteer Boulevard and Phillip Fulmer Way will permanently close, along with the Andy Holt Avenue access to staff lot 9. Motorists will need to enter staff lot 9 via Peyton Manning Pass.
Phillip Fulmer Way from Cumberland Avenue to Middle Way Drive will be closed during Spring Break from March 17 to March 25, and then one lane will reopen the following week.
