Donated Books Arrive Today at L&N STEM Academy

L&N AcademyThe university has collected hundreds of books to help Knox County’s newest high school, the L&N STEM Academy, fill its library shelves. The book drive started on February 3. Today a truck will load up donated books and deliver them to the academy, a magnet high school focused on science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Beginning at noon today, staff from Facilities Services will begin packing up donated books to be delivered to the academy. Located in the historic L&N Station in downtown Knoxville, the L&N Academy is a magnet school with a focus in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
