UT Knoxville Welcomes 600 Parents, Others for Winter Family Weekend

KNOXVILLE — The University of Tennessee, Knoxville is expecting more than 600 parents and family members of UT students to attend its annual Winter Family Weekend this Saturday and Sunday, February 4–5.

The weekend kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday with a dinner at the West Club in Neyland Stadium. Parents and family members will then head to Thompson Boling Arena to cheer on our Tennessee Volunteers in an SEC showdown against the Georgia Bulldogs.

On Sunday, parents, students, and their guests will attend lunch in the University Center Ballroom. Winter Family Weekend will conclude with participants attending the Tennessee Lady Vols vs. Auburn Lady Tigers game at 2:00 p.m.

Family Weekend participants will enjoy events and venues throughout the city of Knoxville, including a Knoxville Ice Bears game, a performance of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra Pops Series Presents: Manhattan Transfer, the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, the McClung Museum, and the Knoxville Museum of Art.
