Bill Dunne, associate dean of the College of Engineering, gave media a tour of the Min H. Kao Electrical Engineering and Computer Science building this week. The building officially opens for class this semester after being under construction since 2007. It streamlines six buildings comprising its Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science into one 150,000-square-foot engineering building. The facility cost $37.5 million to complete and is the first new building since 1964 for the College of Engineering.
