Chris Cherry, assistant professor in civil and environmental engineering, was interviewed in the Law Vegas Review-Journal, about electric bicycles. The city is launching an electric bike program to encourage public employees to use pedal-assisted bicycles instead of cars. Cherry is launching a similar program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, this year, and spoke about the potential glitches of the program.
