Chris Cherry, assistant professor in civil and environmental engineering, was featured in the Commercial Appeal, for his electric bike and traditional bike-share research project. The bike share program launched on campus at the end of August with the first station being set up in Presidential Court. Cherry is testing to see if e-bikes are more popular than traditional bikes, among other things.
