Lawson Bordley, a civil engineering PhD student, is the front page story of Iowa State University’s Go! e-zine, “Be a dear and save a deer: How to be a safe driver on rural roads” for his UT Rural Teenage Driver Education Program. The program is an enhanced teen safety course designed to teach rural adolescents to be proactive and conscientious drivers. The editors call the program “an exemplary rural road safety program for high school students.”
