University of Tennessee Lady Vol staff member Kristen Martin needs your help. Her nine-year-old daughter, Anna, has been diagnosed with Leukemia and is in need of a bone marrow transplant. If you are healthy and between the ages of eighteen and sixty, a simple cheek swab test can help determine if you are a potential bone marrow donor for Anna.
If you would like to see if you are a match for Anna, visit the Medic Regional Blood Center at 1601 Ailor Ave. anytime. Cheek swab tests also will be performed at the Hardin Valley Church of Christ, located at 11515 Hardin Valley Road, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18. The test takes ten minutes and could help save Anna’s life.
